Yes. It is important for parents to know that the NCLB supports programs in schools and school districts to improve the learning of children from low-income families. Some district wide schools have not met math and/or reading goals outlined by their state.

What is a SES provider?
SES is a term that the No Child Left Behind Program uses for Supplemental Educational Services and refers to the tutoring or the extra help with homework in subjects such as reading and math that low-income children may receive.

What is the cost for tutoring?
Services for tutoring are at no cost to families. Other services; such as college planning and personal and career development are presented on an individual and/or group basis and are fee based.

How can I prepare my son/daughter for college?
Planning for college takes preparation. As a parent, you can take an active role in your student's education. Academic preparation, early planning, and exposure to college and career options are key.
