Our goal is to teach and provide each child with the skills necessary to do their academic studies themselves with a strong understanding and an improved accuracy in test scoring and learning ability. We begin tutoring, by assessing your child in the core areas of reading comprehension and math. Individual Educational (achievement) Plan (IEP) are designed with the student in mind. IEPs are developed in consultation with the student's teacher, parents/guardian, and/or counselor. Individualized achievement goals are developed and courses of action (steps) are identified to meet academic goals. Momentuum's curriculum is based on its' impact to learning, consistency to state level mandated testing, and supplemental materials for take home. Our tutoring curriculum parallels state core subject areas curriculum preparing students for state mandated testing and achievement.

Parents/Guardians will always know how their students are performing because of regular progress reports. In addition, parents are required to participate in their student's education through parent and tutor communications, supplemental materials and homework assignments to reinforce learning. Opportunities are also given for parents to plan and assist with special activities, e.g. Field Trips, Career Days. In addition, students are provided with learning activities during semester breaks, e.g. holidays, seasonal, etc., that enrich and build upon student's learning in particular subject areas. For example, students are given science projects requiring materials and parent involvement.
